Joseph G. Bartuah is a Liberian journalist. He is a former editor of The News, a Monrovia-based daily news paper. He is now a reporter based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Bartuah was arrested along with fellow editors Abdullah Dukuly, Jerome Dalieh, and journalist Bobby Tapson on 21 February 2001 after The News reported the government of Charles Taylor paid 50,000 United States dollars to fix helicopters rather than pay civil servants.
Bartuah was born in Kiapa, Nimba County as the only boy for his parents. He work with the Information Ministry in Liberia and other media group in Liberia. Mr Bartuah most successful job as a journalist was went he serve as Editor of The News newspaper. He took over the job as Manafering Director went Mr Y. Nyenkeh Forkpa flew to the US. He have been the brain behind several political speeches in the 1997 election.
